Yes. The main means of providing Mental Health treatment at Mind & Body, LLC is Telemental health through a secure and HIPPA compliant platform to clients who are physically located in South Carolina and North Carolina at the time of service.
However, I do understand that sometimes there may be a need or preference to meet in person for treatment. I can accommodate accordingly as strictly in-person or hybrid (Telemental Health and In-Person) treatment.
-
The primary difference is that Telemental health allows you to have your sessions from the comfort and convenience of the space and location of your choice. You will also be meeting with your Therapist via an online platform instead of in-person. Otherwise, sessions via Telemental health are very similar to sessions traditionally received in an office environment.
-
Telemental health offers several added benefits that traditional in-office therapy does not. It is convenient, flexible, and puts you in control of your appointments.
Telemental health is convenient as it allows you more flexibility at times you are available, preventing the need to take off from school or work. Further, it eliminates the need to drive to an office or in bad weather in turn reducing transportation costs. If there is anything COVID taught us, easy-to-use modern virtual tools are the new default.
You choose the space you would like sessions to take place at. You can meet your Therapist right in the privacy and comfort of your own home or where you feel most relaxed.
